Louisiana Senate Republicans against Biden’s ‘reckless changes’ to Title IX

Special to the American Press

The Louisiana Senate Republican Delegation has released the following statement on the Title IX Policy Implementation:

“The Louisiana Senate Republican Delegation firmly stands with State Superintendent Cade Brumley against the Biden administration’s reckless changes to Title IX. These changes warp the original purpose of the law, pushing a radical agenda that allows men who identify as women to compete in women’s sports and access women-only spaces. This not only tramples on the rights and safety of women but also flies in the face of common sense.

“Superintendent Brumley, our Attorney General, and Governor are holding the line, ensuring that Louisiana doesn’t bend to federal overreach that dictates our schools must comply with rules that betray our values. The Biden administration’s move to redefine “sex” in educational policy is an outright violation of the law, showing a disdain for both legal boundaries and the biological realities that protect the integrity of women’s sports and spaces.

“We’re not just going to stand back and let Washington bulldoze over our rights or our children’s safety. The Louisiana Senate Republican Delegation is all in on fighting these extreme and destructive policies. We support Superintendent Brumley’s commitment to keeping our schools fair and safe, reflecting the true wishes of our people. We’re fighting back against these absurd policies to make sure that our schools remain places of fairness and safety, not laboratories for social experiments pushed by far-off politicians.”
