The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests:

Russell Joseph Murphy, 54, 2617 Ernest St. — two counts prohibited acts, drug paraphernalia;  possession of marijuana, first offense (14 grams or less): drug possession; careless operation. Bond: $5,600.

Peter Lawrence Guidry, 60, 7573 Tee Guidry Road, Hayes — theft from $5,000 but less than $25,000; forgery. Bond: $32,000.

Matthew David Allen, 32, 1205 W. Dave Dugas Road, Sulphur — simple burglary; attempted theft less than $1,000; entry on or remaining in places or on land after being forbidden; prohibited acts, drug paraphernalia; disturbing the peace; theft less than $1,000. Bond: $26,000.

Brittany Leigh Smith, 36, 5058 Gillis Road, Starks  — theft less than $1,000; theft from $1,000 but less than $5,000; simple burglary; direct contempt of court.

Azzam Pelaken, 40, 2013 Maison Rue Drive — domestic abuse battery, child endangerment; violations of protective orders.

Jason Scott Simcox, 41, 2010 Patton St. No. 21, Sulphur — theft from $5,000 but less than $25,000; simple burglary; simple criminal damage to property from $50,000 or more.

Melchezideck Jerome Simon, 20, 2904 S. General Wainwright Drive — theft less than $1,000; simple burglary; theft of a firearm. Bond: $381,000.

Emily Anne Cook, 36, Greenville, S.C. — five counts direct contempt of court; theft of a motor vehicle from $1,000 but less than $5,000. Bond: $10,000.

Chris Anthony Terry, 32, 2111 Trailer St. No. 37, Sulphur — domestic abuse battery, child endangerment.

Justin Dage Hafer, 27, 6735 U.S. 90 East — domestic abuse battery, child endangerment.

Melvin Clay Blake Jr., 28, 2214 Knapp St. — two counts drug possession; prohibited acts, drug paraphernalia. Bond: $30,500.

Mark Edward Reddin, 39, 1702 N. Crestview Drive — obscenity. Bond: $70,000.

Shelby Lynn Sargent, 27, 949 North Lake Court, Moss Bluff — drug possession; prohibited acts, drug paraphernalia; three counts illegal use of controlled dangerous substances in the presence of persons under 17 years of age; cruelty to juveniles. Bond: $340,500.

Jerald Paul Guillory, 58, Beaumont, Texas  — domestic abuse battery.

Jonah Phillip Ellis, 30, 1400 Jackson St. — two counts drug possession; money laundering. Bond: $10,500.

Derrick Wayman Wright, 23, 1276 U.S. 171 No. 41 — simple battery; simple assault; resisting a police officer with force or violence. Bond: $11,500.

Logan Gordon Nezat, 31, 4917 La Paix Drive, Sulphur — domestic abuse battery, child endangerment.

Anthony George Crochet, 37, 526 Perry Lane — operating while intoxicated, fourth offense; aggravated flight from an officer; resisting an officer; unlawful refusal to submit to chemical tests, arrests for driving while intoxicated; operating a vehicle while under suspension for certain prior offenses; no motor vehicle insurance.

James Arnold Leavins, 69, 4083 Fluty Lane, DeQuincy — indecent behavior with juveniles. Bond: $200,000.

Russell Lee Taylor, 24, 106 Houston Drive, Westlake — proper equipment required on vehicles; operating while intoxicated, first offense; drug possession; possession of synthetic marijuana, first offense, misdemeanor; prohibited acts, drug paraphernalia; careless operation; evidence of motor vehicle liability security contained in vehicle; operating vehicle while license is suspended; possession of firearm or carrying concealed weapon by a person convicted of certain felonies; two counts hit-and-run driving.
