Three arrested   in store robbery

Three men were arrested around Wednesday morning, accused in an armed robbery of a Vinton convenience store.

Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Kayla Vincent said a worker at the Toomey Road business said she was robbed at gunpoint just after midnight by three men who stole an undisclosed amount of cash, items from inside the store and her personal belongings.

Vincent said the victim was able to give deputies a description of the car, which was later discovered by Lake Charles Police. When officers attempted to stop the car, the suspects fled and led officers on a pursuit. Spike strips were deployed by assisting agencies and the car ultimately came to a stop  in Acadia Parish.

Three suspects fled the car on foot, but were shortly apprehended, Vincent said. They are Taurus T. Finley Jr., and Evan A. Ard, both 20 and residents of Hammond, and Jaylon D. Brumfield, 23, 710 Iris St. No. 309. All three are charged with armed robbery, armed robbery with a firearm, illegal carrying of a weapon during a crime of violence, and resisting an officer by flight.

Judge David Ritchie set each of their bonds at $855,000.

Assisting agencies are the Lake Charles City Police, Louisiana State Police Troop D, Louisiana State Police Troop I, Jeff Davis Parish Sheriff’s Office, Welsh Police Department, and Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office.

The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests:

Rudy Lee Beniot, 41, 1221 13th St. No. 14 — domestic abuse battery; simple criminal damage to property less than $500.

Joseph Hunter Constance, 27, 2686 Ellender Road, Sulphur — theft of a motor vehicle from $1,000 but less than $5,000. Bond: $7,500.

Terrell Irvin, 24, 1601 Ace St. — domestic abuse battery.

Michelle E. Dilks, 37, 3542 Big Lake Pines Road — two counts drug possession; illegal carrying of weapons during commission of a crime or in presence of CDS. Bond: $33,500.

Robert Curtis Young, 38, 1005 Shady Lane, Westlake — direct contempt of court; theft of a motor vehicle from $25,000 or more; certain activities regarding contraband in penal institutions prohibited; two counts drug possession.

Joshua Alexander Walker, 34, 4114 Center St. — two counts violations of protective orders; illegal possession of stolen things from $1,000 but less than $5,000; theft from $1,000 but less than $5,000; two counts domestic abuse battery, child endangerment; domestic abuse battery, strangulation; aggravated flight from an officer; stalking; hit-and-run driving.

Terrell Glenn Istre Jr., 47, 808 Sugar Maple Lane, Sulphur — violations of protective orders.

Nathaniel Joseph Conner, 32, 5354 Pheasant Lane — criminal trespass; drug possession; illegal carrying of weapons during commission of a crime or in presence of CDS: illegal possession of stolen firearms, first offense; possession of firearm or carrying concealed weapon by a person convicted of certain felonies.

Dominick Anthony Santino, 49, San Antonio, Texas — illegal possession of stolen things from $25,000 or more. Bond: $45,000.

Pauline L. McArthur, 21, 8559 Gulf Highway — aggravated assault upon a dating partner child endangerment law; simple criminal damage to property less than $1,000.

Jessica Labove Everett, 39, 420 Beechwood Road, Moss Bluff — domestic abuse battery, child endangerment.

Jubal Quintero McGhee, 44, Lafayette — three counts drug possession; prohibited acts, drug paraphernalia; possession of alcoholic beverages in motor vehicles; obstruction public passage; operating while intoxicated, first offense.

Fredrick Javon Fenner, 34, 2325 Elaine St. — aggravated assault; resisting an officer by flight; simple criminal damage to property from $1,000 but less than $50,000.

Zayne Landry Double, 21, 615 W. Carlton St. No. 2, Sulphur — domestic abuse battery.

Pamela Ann Marcantel Bellard, 59, 1087 Perry Road, Moss Bluff — cruelty to juveniles.

Severne Corwin Richardson, 42, 2580 Calcasieu Industry Drive No. 202, Sulphur  — obscenity.

Jeffrey Lee Adams, 32, 7631 Speck Drive — aggravated battery; illegal use of weapons or dangerous instruments. Bond: $90,000.

Trelon Leroy Darby, 23, 2034 11th St. — illegal carrying of weapons during commission of a crime or in presence of CDS; possession of firearm or carrying concealed weapon by a person convicted of certain felonies; two counts drug possession; driving on roadway laned for traffic; operating vehicle while license is suspended; proper equipment required on vehicles.

Jorge Adrian Aguilera Jr., 29, 7114 Corbina Road No. 12 — violations of protective orders.

Devon Dewayne Thomas, 18, 1923 Roscoe J. Moore St. — illegal possession of stolen firearms, first offense; encouraging or contributing to child , dependency or neglect. Bond: $25,000.

Garrique Andre Ned Sr., 37, 7620 Snapper Lane — operating while intoxicated, third offense; obstruction public passage.

Meagan Renee Cain, 30, 2205 Roxton St., Sulphur — obedience to police officers and traffic signals; operating while intoxicated, first offense; drug possession; possession of marijuana, first offense (14 grams or less); prohibited acts, drug paraphernalia; reckless operation; aggravated flight from an officer; direct contempt of court.
