SW La. school lunch menus Feb. 27-March 3

The following menus for Feb. 27-March 3 for area schools have been submitted by supervisors of food services. Menus are subject to change.

MONDAY: Chicken fried beef patty or fingers with mashed potatoes, whole-wheat bread stick, great northern or navy beans, fruit cocktail, plums.

TUESDAY: Chili mac with whole-wheat biscuit or chili over cornbread bowl, cooked carrots, coleslaw, pineapple tidbits, banana.

WEDNESDAY: Barbecue or lemon-baked chicken, baked beans, sweet potato with orange glaze, whole-wheat roll, peaches, apple.

THURSDAY: Chicken and vegetable dumplings or soy sauce chicken, fried rice, vegetable melody, mandarin oranges, pears, sugar cookie.

FRIDAY: Pizza, sweet peas, garden salad, melon cup, banana.

Breakfast

MONDAY: Breakfast pizza, honey bun, pears, apple.

TUESDAY: Whole-grain biscuit, sausage patty, fruit cocktail, plums.

WEDNESDAY: Cheese toast or chocolate crescent mini French toast, hash brown, peaches, apple.

THURSDAY: Mini French toast with syrup, hash brown, peaches, apple.

FRIDAY: Blueberry and cream cheese stick or cinnamon crunch bread, yogurt with granola, mandarin oranges, pears.

MONDAY: Pizza, corn, green beans, orange wedges.

TUESDAY: Spaghetti with meat sauce, broccoli, garden salad, breadstick, fruit mix.

WEDNESDAY: Chicken Alfredo, broccoli, garden salad, breadstick, peaches.

THURSDAY: Sloppy Joe on bun, sandwich salad cup, potato rounds, mixed fruit.

FRIDAY: Fish burger, sandwich salad cup, sweet potato fries, peach crisp.

MONDAY: Cereal, toast, mixed fruit.

TUESDAY: Muffins, mixed fruit.

WEDNESDAY: Grilled  cheese, mixed fruit.

THURSDAY: Ham and cheese roll, sliced apples.

FRIDAY: Waffle dunkers, yogurt, sliced apples.

TUESDAY: Cajun red beans and rice, smothered cabbage, glazed carrots, cornbread muffins, sliced pears.

WEDNESDAY: Spaghetti, seasoned green beans, side salad, grape tomatoes, Italian rolls, cantaloupe.

THURSDAY: Southern fried chicken, mashed potatoes, broccoli and cheese, strawberry cups, honey wheat roll.

FRIDAY: Cheese pizza, marinara cups, sweet corn, orange wedges.

MONDAY: Maple waffle sandwich, pineapple pieces.

TUESDAY: Waffles, sweet pineapples.

THURSDAY: Chicken fried stick, yeast rolls, redskin garlic mashed potatoes, broccoli and cheese, applesauce.

FRIDAY: Catfish fillet, flour tortillas, potato wedges, flamed-roasted corn, strawberries, banana.
