As a repeat first-team selection, Jinks showed versatility and vision while averaging 19 points, 10 assists and three rebounds a game.

Fairview head coach Kyle Jinks, who won his 950th career game in the semifinals, is the Coach of the Year. It is his first honor since 2019. The Panthers lost to Hathaway 64-54 in the nonselect Division V final, ended a streak of three consecutive state championships.

Fairview claimed three of the five first-team spots. Joining Jinks on the first team is senior Isabella Smith (17 ppg) and junior Ella Reeves (22 ppg).

Nonselect Division V semifinalist Reeves has two players on the all-state team in senior forward Faith Cauthron (15 ppg) on the first team and second-team guard Maddi Ford (12 ppg).

The senior duo led Reeves to the state tournament for the third time since 2019.

On the boys side, Gibsland-Coleman senior Terrance James is the MVP (24 ppg, 15 rpg), while Hornbeck’s Charlie Alexander is the Coach of the Year.

Fairview, a nonselect Division V semifinalist, has two all-state selections in senior first-team pick Landon Strother (24 ppg) and senior Bret Jinks (15 ppg), who earned second-team honors for a second consecutive season.

Singer’s Aiden Sandifer (21 ppg) made the second team.
