Martin Lynn Towle

Martin Lynn Towle, age 74, of Sulphur, La., passed away peacefully in his home on Sunday, Oct. 23, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on July 21, 1948, in Minneapolis, Minn.
Martin proudly served in the U.S. Navy as part of the Seabees Division for over 16 years. He worked in civil engineering as a Quality Control Supervisor until his retirement from Bomac. In his early years he enjoyed playing softball, coaching women’s softball, and bowling. In more recent years he loved cooking, traveling, going on cruises, and taking care of his property with his wife. What he treasured most was spending time with his family.
Martin was preceded in death by his grandson, Chase Delcambre; son-in-law, Shannon Barrios; parents, Harrison and Irene Towle; and brothers, Ervin, Allen, Delroy, Clint and Danny Towle.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 51 years, Debra Towle; daughter, Shelly Barrios; daughter, Lisa Curry and her husband, Rick; grandchildren, Matthew Towle, Evan Barrios, Lydia Delcambre, and Madison Cormier; great-grandchildren, Rylie and Alina; brother, Tony Towle; sister, Judy Taylor; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Martin’s wishes were to be cremated with a private family memorial at a later date.
