“We are leaving, but I’m trying to assess how much water risk, how much wind risk when it looked like it’s turning south a little earlier, it’s time to maybe put up the plywood,” said Tampa, Fla., resident Gil Gonzalez. “We’ve got sandbags and all kinds of anti-flooding devices that we’re going to set up here in a little while.”
