November election qualifying has begun

Candidates seeking public office in six parishes signed up Wednesday and Thursday at their parish courthouses to qualify for the Nov. 8 open congressional primary election. Qualifying ends on Friday. Here is the list of candidates who have qualified so far:

Calcasieu Parish
