Eva Ann Hebert

Eva Ann Hebert, a lifelong resident of Ragley, passed away while surrounded by her family on Monday, July 4, 2022, at the age of 81.
Those left to cherish Eva’s beautiful memory is her loving husband of 63 years, Edward Hebert; her sons, Billy Wayne (Cheryl) Hebert of Moss Bluff, Edward James Jr. (Julie) Hebert of Moss Buff, Steven Boyd Hebert of Moss Bluff, Donald Ray (Stacy) Hebert of Moss Bluff, Bryan Joseph (Ashley) Hebert of Ragley; her daughter, Rita Elizabeth (Christopher) Brown of Ragley; 17 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; a sister, Ethel Darbonne; a sister-in-law, Chirley Pilgrim, and brother-in-law, Steve (Dorothy) Hebert. She is also survived by multiple nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her son, Roger Dale Hebert; her parents, Dorsan and Elizabeth Fontenot; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Syriac and Rita Hebert; a grandson, Kaide Joseph Hebert; two brothers, Lubert Fontenot and John Fontenot; and her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, David and Alice Hebert, Chester and Juanita Hebert, Milton and Anna Mae Hebert, Syriac Hebert Jr., Marie and JB Aucoin and Johnnie Darbonne.
The family requests that a time of visitation be observed on Thursday, July 7, 2022 from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 6 p.m. at J.E. Hixson and Sons Funeral Home in Moss Bluff. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Friday, July 8, 2022, at 10 a.m. until final viewing at 12 noon. After visitation, the family will proceed to St. Pius X Catholic Church in Ragley for a 1 p.m. Mass of Christian burial. Following services, Eva will be laid to rest in the Magnolia Cemetery also in Ragley.
