Kathleen Ford-Wilson, 74, passed away in a local hospital on Sunday, Jan. 2, 2022. She was born on Nov. 15, 1947, to Samuel and Faye Spell Bourgeois in Crowley, La.

She lived most of her life in Lake Charles, but lived in many places and traveled around the world. She was a volunteer for a number of organizations, including Toys for Tots, and CASA senior citizens home where she played in the granny basketball league.

Left to cherish her memory are, her beloved husband of 24 years, Harry Wilson; her children, Lisa Fontenot (Craig), Samantha Mott, both of Lake Charles, La., and Tony Aguillard (Cathy) of Moss Bluff, La.; her sisters, Susan McMillin of Ft. Worth, Texas, and Sandra Hartman of Westlake, La.; her brothers, Ted Spell and Michael Bourgeois, both of Lake Charles, La.; seven grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents; and her sister, Stephanie Ann Trahan.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 7, 2022 at St. Theodore Catholic Church. Father Aubrey Guilbeau will serve as Celebrant. Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home of Lake Charles. Visitation will be at Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 6, with a rosary being recited at 6 p.m., and will resume at the funeral home on Friday morning from 9 a.m. until leaving in procession to the church.
