A pedestrian killed early Thursday morning while walking on Interstate 10 in West Baton Rouge Parish has been identified as a 19-year-old Lake Charles man.
Louisiana State Police Troop A spokesperson Trooper Taylor J. Scrantz said Gunner Thornton was walking north Interstate 10 near La. 415 between 2-3:30 a.m. Thursday when he was struck by multiple vehicles.

Thornton sustained fatal injuries as a result of the crash and was pronounced deceased on the scene, Scrantz said. 

The crash remains under investigation.
