Hans Werner Konieczny

Hans Werner Konieczny, 79, of Moss Bluff, LA, passed away
on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at his residence.

Mr. Konieczny was born in Zweibrucken, Germany and moved to the States in 1959. He was drafted into the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and served until his honorable discharge in
July 1971. Mr. Konieczny was recently recognized as a KPLC Hometown Patriot Hero and for his role in helping popularize soccer in the Lake Area.

Upon meeting and marrying the love of his life in Honolulu, HI, the couple settled
in Westlake, LA where they started their family. They also started their business adventures with Tall Pines RV Park on Houston River Road and Line-A-Bed Truck Accessories, which originated in the couple’s backyard before locating on Miller Avenue in
Westlake. Mr. Konieczny also worked as an instrument technician at Vista in Westlake until he retired in 1993.

Mr. Konieczny is survived by his daughter, Kim Konieczny Pilcher and husband Kerry; three grandchildren, Keaton D.
Pilcher, Kena Le Pilcher, and Nathaniel Grant Cochran; one brother, Gerd Konieczny; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews in Germany and the States.

He was preceded in death by his wife of fifty-four years,
Fawn Nanette Davison Konieczny; daughter, Kristen Le Konieczny Cochran; four brothers; and one sister.

His graveside service will be at 4:00 PM on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at Consolata Cemetery, under the direction of Johnson
Funeral Home. Father Andy DeRouen will officiate.
