US Air Force brass band Gateway Brass to perform at McNeese

Gateway Brass, the brass ensemble of the U.S. Air Force Band of the West, will present a free concert at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 24 in the Shearman Fine Arts Performing Arts Theatre at McNeese State University.

The group consists of two trumpets, French horn, trombone, tuba and percussion.

Gateway Brass, stationed at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas, has been featured in performances at the New York Brass Conference and Boston University’s Tanglewood Music Center.
