Driver sought in Pujol Road hit-and-run

The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office is investigating a hit-and-run that occurred on June 8 on Pujol Road, near Interstate 10.

During the initial investigation, it was learned the driver of a truck was headed northbound on Pujol Road when it struck a small SUV from behind.  The driver did not stop and fled the scene.  The truck will have major front end damage.

Detectives attempted to locate the suspect, but due to switched tags have been unable to do so.  They are asking anyone with information related to this case to call CPSO at 491-3605.

CPSO Sgt. Kerrick Gabriel Jr. is the lead investigator on this case.
