The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests:

Shawn Russell Slusher, 46, 318 Madison St., Sulphur — simple burglary; theft of a firearm; theft less than $1,000; drug possession.

Paul Hayes Ozane, 38, 2714 Opelousas St. — theft of a motor vehicle from $1,000 but less than $5,000; theft from $1,000 but less than $5,000; looting; theft of a motor vehicle from $5,000 but less than $25,000; six counts direct contempt of court. Bond: $29,000.

Blane Ray Demeritt, 39, 608 Edgar St., Sulphur — theft of a motor vehicle from $5,000 but less than $25,000; simple criminal damage to property from $1,000 but less than $50,000; possession of firearm or carrying concealed weapon by a person convicted of certain felonies; unauthorized use of a motor vehicle; theft of a firearm; domestic abuse battery, child endangerment; simple criminal damage to property less than $1,000. Bond: $98,500.

Hunter Allen Hebert, 24, 108 Garden St., Sulphur — theft of a motor vehicle from $5,000 but less than $25,000; theft less than $1,000; simple criminal damage to property less than $1,000. Bond: $19,500.

Tyre Jermaine Williams, 48, 333 Mill St. No. 716 — aggravated assault; simple battery.
