State Fire Marshal deputies are investigating a mobile home fire in Moss Bluff on Saturday that killed a woman and her three dogs.

Just before 4 a.m., the Calcasieu Parish Ward 1 Fire Department responded to a report of a mobile home fire in the 1200 block of N Perkins Ferry Road, according to SFM Public Affairs Director Ashley Rodrigue.

Rodriguez said the bodies of the woman and the dogs were found inside.

“This investigation is active and more information will be released as it becomes available,” Rodrigue said.
