Joseph  Gregory Victorian

Joseph Gregory Victorian, 91, departed this life on Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2022, at his residence in Lake Charles, La.  He was born Dec. 12, 1930, to Raney Victorian and Fannie Mae Rougeau Victorian in Holmwood, La.  He worked in Landscaping at Huber Oil until his retirement and became self-employed in Lawn Service.  He served his country in the United States Army with an honorable discharge.  He was a long-standing member of St. Henry Catholic Church.

He leaves to cherish his memories three daughters, Ruby Coleman (John) of Grovetown, Ga., Madeline Victorian of Lake Charles, La., and Inez Victorian of Metairie, La.; two sons, Mitchell Victorian (Pauline) of Lake Charles, La., and Patrick Victorian (Penny) of Corona, Calif.;  12 grandchildren, Julie Victor, Christina Coleman, Michael Guillory, Matthew Guillory, Malcolm Guillory, Shelly Victorian, Colleen Pointer, Michelle Woodard, Nicholas Fountain, Nicole Fountain, Christian Victorian and Gabrielle Victorian; 13 great-grandchildren, Nicollette, Chrystopher, Caleb, Jonathan, Kiyra, Mariyah, Naylah, Bellah, Addison, Ethan, Angelina, Nicholas, and Laila and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raney and Fannie Mae Victorian; his wife, Evana Victorian; four brothers, Mitchell, Roger, Anthony and Harry Victorian; three sisters, Mable Edwards, Catherine Edwards  and Rita Declouette; two daughters, Sandra Victorian and Henrietta Guillory.

A wake service will be held on Friday, Jan. 21, 2022, from 5 to 8 p.m., at King’s Funeral Home. On Saturday, Jan. 22, 2022, a second visitation will be held at 9 a.m., at King’s Funeral Home and funeral service at 11 a.m., at St. Henry Catholic Church.  Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery under the direction of King’s Funeral Home.
