Due to heating issues, R.W. Vincent and E.K. Key elementary schools will both be closed Tuesday, Jan. 4.

“We are working to correct the issues as quickly as possible,” said Holly Holland, Calcasieu Parish School Board spokesperson. “We fully anticipate welcoming R.W. Vincent Elementary students back to campus on Wednesday, January 5.”

Holland said their office will notify the parents/guardians of students at E.K. Key Elementary on Tuesday as to the status of school on Wednesday.
