Children invited to make coffee filter flowers during STEAM program at library

Children are invited to join the Sulphur Regional Library for an easy and fun STEAM activity.

Children in grades 3-5 will follow easy steps to create fun and original flowers made from coffee filters.

The program will take place 4-5 p.m. Tuesday, April 30, at the Sulphur Regional Library, 1160 Cypress St.

All supplies will be provided by the library and refreshments will be served.

STEAM, which stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics, combines subjects known to increase critical thinking and problem-solving skills through unique hands-on learning opportunities.
