SW La. school lunch menus April 22-26

The following menus for April 22-26 for area schools have been submitted by supervisors of food services. Menus are subject to change.

MONDAY: Meatball sub or cheesy rice and meatballs casserole, baked potato half, sour cream, broccoli with ranch dressing, mandarin oranges.

TUESDAY: Chicken spaghetti or Cajun chicken pasta, yam patty, creamy coleslaw, fruit cocktail, apple cowboy cookie or grahams.

WEDNESDAY: Chicken sauce picante or turkey roast with gravy, rice, cranberry sauce, lima beans, potato salad, homemade roll, strawberry cup, banana.

THURSDAY: Potato soup with diced ham or cheeseburger soup, carrot sticks with ranch, breadstick or cheddar cheese crackers, pineapple rings with cherries, banana.

FRIDAY: Ham and cheese or grilled cheese sandwich, sweet potato fries, great northern or navy beans, apricots, apple.

Breakfast

MONDAY: Breakfast pizza, hash brown, apricots, apple.

TUESDAY: Mini whole-grain biscuits, pork sausage patty. Mandarin oranges, blueberries.

WEDNESDAY: Whole-grain cinnamon and raisin bagel with cream cheese or cheese toast, fruit cocktail, apple.

THURSDAY: Oatmeal or oatmeal muffin square, muffin, raisins, banana

FRIDAY: Mini waffles with syrup, General Mills cereal bar, grapes, orange.

MONDAY: Corn dogs, sweet potato fries, corn, pears, sugar cookie.

TUESDAY: Spaghetti and meat sauce, green beans, garden salad, sliced apples.

WEDNESDAY: Grilled ham and cheese sandwich salad cup, French fries, peaches, cinnamon rolls.

THURSDAY: Jambalaya, broccoli, sweet potatoes, fruit cup.

FRIDAY: Barbecue burger, baked beans, potato rounds, mixed fruit..

MONDAY: Cinnamon toast, ham, peaches

TUESDAY: Cereal, toast, orange wedges.

WEDNESDAY: Breakfast burrito, sliced apples.

THURSDAY: Muffins, mixed fruit.

TUESDAY: Crunchy sweet tacos, Texas ranchero beans, salsa cup, pineapples, sweet sugar cookies.

WEDNESDAY: Spaghetti, salad, green beans, cantaloupe, honeydew melon, Italian rolls.

THURSDAY: Meatballs, rice and gravy, black-eyed peas, mustard greens, honey wheat roll, grapes.

FRIDAY: Southern fried chicken, mashed potatoes, broccoli and cheese, honey wheat roll, strawberry cup.
