Carolyn Rose Craig

LAKE CHARLES- Carolyn Rose Craig, age 88, the former Carolyn Rose Corbello, passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at her residence in Carencro. 

Mrs. Craig was a native of Lake Charles for most of her life where she was a parishioner of St. Theodore Catholic Church and recently moved to Carencro. She was employed in the banking industry for 33 years. Mrs. Craig was an artist and she took pleasure in creating beautiful pieces. She also enjoyed painting, gardening and flowers. 

Survivors include her husband of 64 beautiful years, Glen Huey Craig; her daughter, Kim Michelle LeBlanc (Christopher Meyers); her stepdaughter, Anne Robichaux (Larry Robichaux Sr.); two grandchildren, Corey Craig (Truly), and Ashley Lyles (Andrew); four great-grandchildren, Parker, Kennedy, Karllie, and Kaden; two great-great-grandchildren, Oakley and Rainee, and one sister, Lea Alexander.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jim Corbello and the former, Rosie Daigle; one brother, Walter Corbello and his wife, Nellie, and one brother-in-law, Bill Alexander. 

The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to Hospice of Acadiana for their excellent care and compassion.
