Celebrate Southwest Louisiana’s unique culture, enjoy great weather, connect with friends and make new ones at the Fourth Annual This Is Home Fest Saturday, April 20.

“The first This Is Home Fest event was in fall 2021, explained Lauren Olsen, president of the This is Home Fest organization. “The purpose was to celebrate the resilience of the community after battling COVID, back- to-back hurricanes, a brutal ice storm and historic flooding.”

That first festival welcomed residents and visitors with a love of Louisiana food, music and art to enjoy a day of free music. Mark Broussard was only one performer of the full slate of local talent to entertain.

“It was a great success,” Olsen said. “A board of directors was organized and a mission set. This Is Home Fest would promote the unique quality of life in Southwest Louisiana by sharing music and culture that celebrates local and global artistry.”
