Luke  Travis Vaussine

Luke Travis Vaussine, 58, was born Feb. 26, 1966, to Armand Vaussine Jr., and Anna Jean Vaussine in Sulphur, La. He passed away on April 10, 2024, in Oklahoma City, Okla., surrounded by his family. 

Luke’s hobbies were singing, dancing, fishing, riding his bike, socializing, making friends with everyone he met, and lending a helping hand to neighbors. 

His collections were ink pens, Days Of Our Lives magazines, wrestling magazines, coloring books, DVD’s, CD’S, T-shirts, mugs, and one-dollar bills.

His unbreakable habits were making everyone smile, leaving an impression on the lives of each person he met, demonstrating unconditional love, sharing happiness through the city, making sure he left a lasting impression on your life, and treating his sisters to lunch and then asking them to pay him back. 

Left to cherish Luke’s memories are his brother, Rudy Patrick Vaussine (wife Charlene); two sisters, Melba Jean Thibodeaux (husband Clifford) and Margaret Ann Sprague (Husband Wendell);  along with nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Armand Vaussine Jr.; mother, Anna Jean Vaussine; two brothers, Mitchell Lynn and Odrey Jeff Vaussine; two sisters, Dianna Patricia Istre, and Mary Kate Corbello. 

Luke’s funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 20, 2024, at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. Lukes’s visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of services on Saturday at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home, with Bro. Arvin Harrell officiating. The Burial will be at Big Woods Cemetery in Edgerly under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home.
