SW La. school lunch menus April 8-12

The following menus for April 8-12 for area schools have been submitted by supervisors of food services. Menus are subject to change.

MONDAY: Chicken fried beef patty or fingers with mashed potatoes and gravy or baked potato half with shredded cheese cup, great northern bean or navy beans, chewy bread stick, fruit cocktail.

TUESDAY: Chili mac with biscuit or chili over cornbread bowl, cooked carrots, creamy coleslaw, pineapple tidbits, banana.

WEDNESDAY: Barbecue or lemon pepper baked chicken or chicken biscuit sandwich, baked beans, sweet potato with orange glaze, homemade roll.

THURSDAY: Orange popcorn chicken or chicken patty, fried rice, vegetable melody, mandarin oranges, pears, sugar cookies.

FRIDAY: Pizza, sweet peas or carrot sticks with ranch dressing, garden salad, melon cup, banana.

Breakfast

MONDAY: Breakfast pizza, hash brown, pears, apple.

TUESDAY: Whole-grain biscuit, pork sausage patty, frozen peach cup, grapes or plums.

WEDNESDAY: Cheese toast or grape crescent, oatmeal, pineapple tidbits, banana.

THURSDAY: Mini French toast with syrup, chicken sausage patty, peaches, grapefruit or apple.

FRIDAY: Mini strawberry and cream cheese bagel, yogurt with granola, mandarin oranges, pears.

MONDAY: Pizza, corn, green beans, orange wedges.

TUESDAY: Chicken fajitas, Spanish rice, red beans, taco salad cup, sliced apples.

WEDNESDAY: Hamburger steak, potatoes with gravy, broccoli, mixed fruit, rolls.

THURSDAY: Ham and cheese Stromboli, sweet potato fries, garden salad, fruit cup.

FRIDAY: Nachos with beef, red beans, taco salad cup, peaches, cinnamon buns.

MONDAY: Breakfast pizza, pears.

TUESDAY: Pancake and sausage on a stick, sliced apples.

WEDNESDAY: Scrambled eggs, toast, peaches.

THURSDAY: Cinnamon toasted rolls, pears.

FRIDAY: Oatmeal, toast, mixed fruit.

MONDAY: Chicken nuggets, mac and cheese, sweet potato fries, mixed vegetables, pineapple tidbits.

TUESDAY: Cajun chicken pasta, glazed carrots, sweet corn, chilled peaches, Italian rolls.

WEDNESDAY: Home-style chili with Frito corn chips, broccoli and cheese, seasoned green beans, cornbread muffins, mandarin oranges.

THURSDAY: Jambalaya, sweet potatoes, peas and carrots, cornbread muffins, applesauce cups.

FRIDAY: Cheeseburger, French fries, baked beans, strawberry cups.

TUESDAY: Pancakes, cool pears.
