A convicted sex offender has been arrested for indecent behavior with a juvenile.

Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Kayla Vincent said her office received a complaint regarding Terry Howard, 65, asking a child under the age of 10 to perform inappropriate actions on more than one occasion.

Howard was arrested March 28 and charged with indecent behavior with a juvenile. His bond is set at $750,000.

He was convicted of aggravated rape in 1981 as well as failure to register as a sex offender in 2013 and carnal knowledge of a juvenile in 2015.

Special Victims Unit Detective Kara Adams is the lead investigators on this case.
