The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests:

Ashley Renee Captain, 38, 1701 Oak Park Blvd. — domestic abuse battery-serious bodily injury; aggravated second-degree battery.

Nicholas Blake Sonnier, 26, 6625 Petite Meadow Drive — illegal possession of stolen things from $1,000 but less than $5,000.

Troy Kim McBride, 60, 7500 Flounder Drive — drug possession; prohibited acts, drug paraphernalia; theft less than $1,000.

Nyla Yanea Young, 22, 2013 4th St. — direct contempt of court; possession of marijuana, first offense (14 grams or less); drug possession; view outward or inward through windshield or window obscured; driver must be license.
