About 500 customers in the Jennings area will experience a planned overnight outage on March 28, from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m., according to Entergy officials.

The necessary outage will allow crews to install a mobile substation in order to make upgrades to existing equipment serving the area.

Affected customers will be in the Southeast part of Jennings. Communications will be sent to impacted customers ahead of the outage taking place.
