SW La. school lunch menus March 18-22

The following menus for March 18-22 for area schools have been submitted by supervisors of food services. Menus are subject to change.

MONDAY: Barbecue rib burger or pulled pork on a bun, sweet potato French fries, great northern beans, pineapple tidbits.

TUESDAY: Meatloaf or Shepard’s pie, mashed potatoes, green beans, mini biscuits, applesauce, fruit cocktail.

WEDNESDAY: Red beans, sausage or ham over rice, cooked carrots, breaded okra, cornbread, pears, orange.

THURSDAY: Spaghetti and meat sauce, sweet peas, garden salad, bread stick, melon cup, banana.

FRIDAY: Chicken taquito or cheese quesadilla, guacamole cup, Spanish rice, pinto beans, whole-kernel corn, strawberry cup, apple.

Breakfast

MONDAY: Chocolate or grape crescent, cheddar cheese cuts or string cheese stick, apricots, banana.

TUESDAY: Mini strawberry and cream cheese bagel or toast with jelly, graham crackers, pineapple tidbits, apple.

WEDNESDAY: Egg and cheese burrito, yogurt cup, applesauce, grapes, plums.

THURSDAY: Scrambled eggs, sausage link, cinnamon roll, pears, peaches.

FRIDAY: French toast sticks, chicken sausage patty, watermelon cup, banana.

MONDAY: Cheeseburger, waffle fries, sandwich salad cup, peach or apple crisp.

TUESDAY: Beef burrito, red beans, Spanish rice, taco salad cup, pears.

THURSDAY: Pork and gravy on rice, steamed carrots, black-eyed peas, fruit cup, rolls.
