The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is now available for the 2024-2025 academic year and the McNeese Financial Aid Office is hosting another FAFSA Frenzy on Saturday, March 16, on campus in the Frazar Memorial Library from 1 to 4 p.m. No appointment is needed.

All high school seniors and current McNeese students who have questions about FAFSA or need help filing it are invited.

Students who have never completed the FAFSA need to set up a Federal Student Aid (FSA) ID before attending the event by going to www.studentaid.gov and clicking on Create an Account.

Students need to bring their FSA ID, social security number and 2022 tax information. Students who are dependents need to bring their parent/contributor’s information as well.

The FAFSA is important for students who are receiving TOPS, grants or student loans. To avoid delays in receiving your financial aid for the 2024-2025, complete the FAFSA as soon as possible.
