An Iowa, La., man died late Wednesday after he was ejected during a crash on Interstate 10, just west of Crowley.

Adrian Rubio Pascula, 23, was pronounced dead at the scene following the single-vehicle crash in Acadia Parish, according to Louisiana State Police Troop I.

According to troopers, Pascual was traveling eastbound on I-10 around 10:30 p.m., when his vehicle exited the travel lane on the right, entered a ditch and overturned several times.

Pascula, who was not properly restrained, was ejected from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene by the Acadia Parish Coroner’s Office.

A toxicology sample was obtained for analysis.

The crash remains under investigation.

The death marks the sixth fatal crash investigated by Troop I for 2024.
