Jerry moved to Houston, Texas in the mid-70s with his father and brother. In 1988, he met the love of his life, Cynthia Williams Broussard.

They were married on Feb. 9, 2007. Jerry and Cynthia along with their two children, Dameian and De’neshia, have been together ever since.

Jerry was a longtime employee of BFl. He began his career there in 1999 and went on to retire in 2020.

Jerry enjoyed spending time with his wife, children, family, and friends. On any given weekend, you could find him with his brother, whom he loved dearly and spoke to almost daily, Jackie Ray Broussard, or his best friend, Michael Malone. He was indeed a family man.

Jerry loved sports, but his love for the Texans was the greatest. He and Cynthia, his beautiful wife, lived a full life traveling and cruising the seas. He embodied the best qualities, unconditional love, strength of spirit, and an easy-going nature. His presence is already missed.

Jerry was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Jerry Broussard, and his baby brother, Jarrett Stanley. Jerry leaves behind his wife, Cynthia Broussard; his son, Dameian Charles;  daughter, De’neshia (Raymond) Brown; his mother, Eula Jean (Gary) Stanley of Lake Charles, La.; his sister, Jannie (Nathan) Keller of Lake Charles, La., and brothers, Minister Jackie Ray (Lisa) Broussard of Houston, Texas, Matthew (Lisa) Mitchell of Dallas, Texas, and Corey (Cynthia) Thomas of Houston, Texas, as well as a host of nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Fondel Memorial Chapel.
