McNeese Hosting Spring Preview Day on Feb. 24

High school students and their families are invited to McNeese State University’s Preview Day on Saturday, Feb. 24, Tritico Theatre in the Shearman Fine Arts Annex from 9 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.

Preview Day is a campus-wide event for students and their families to learn about admissions, majors and minors of the six colleges, scholarships and campus life. Join a campus and housing tour to see why McNeese is home to thousands of students each year.

Online preregistration for the event is encouraged, but attendees may also register at the door from 8:30-9 a.m.

Events of the day include the student organizations and resource browse from 9:30-10:30 a.m. in the Quad, an academic open house from 10:45-11:30 a.m. and a scholarship and financial aid presentation at 11:45 a.m.

The McNeese Bookstore, located in the New Ranch, will be open from 8:30-11:30 a.m.

Students and their guests will receive free general admission to the McNeese vs. New Mexico baseball game at 1 p.m. in Joe Miller Ballpark or the Softball Cowgirl Classic tournament at the Joe Miller Field at Cowgirl Diamond with games at noon and 2:30 p.m. Basketball fans will receive a standing-room-only ticket to attend the McNeese vs. Incarnate Word men’s basketball game at 4 p.m.
