Bonnie Parker Alston, 88, of Sulphur passed away peacefully in her home on Sunday, Feb. 11, 2024.

Bonnie was a beautician for many years, owning a salon in Mayfair Park, Texas for many years.  She was a gifted artist in painting and ceramics and enjoyed crocheting. Bonnie loved working in her yard tending to her flower beds. She will be remembered for her spirited nature and love of family.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Randy Alston of Sulphur; daughter, Melody Dawn Brazda (Dennis) of Sargent, Texas; grandchildren, Adonna Saunders, Shelley Marshall, Kimberly Evans, Michael Brazda, Cherie Thomas, and Michelle Baranowski; 12 great-grandchildren; and her brother, Duke Parker Jr. (Pat).

She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Ralph Max Alston; daughter, Debra Lanell Evans; and her parents, Duke Parker Sr., and Lola Parker.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Friday, Feb. 16, 2024, at Johnson & Robison Funeral Home of Sulphur. Her burial will follow at Royer Cemetery.
