All Allen, Beauregard, Calcasieu, Jeff Davis and Vernon parish public schools will remain closed Wednesday due to the continued cold weather conditions, as will Bishop Noland Episcopal Day School. Campuses are expected to reopen on Thursday.

The Diocese of Lake Charles schools will also be closed Wednesday.

McNeese State University will continue to offer modified operations on Wednesday with instructors encouraged to offer classes online if possible.

All Calcasieu Parish Police Jury offices and services will be open and operate on their normal schedules Wednesday.

All city of Lake Charles administrative offices and services, including City Hall, will resume service with normal business hours on Wednesday. Transit operations will resume with all routes being run on their normal schedules. Trash and garbage normally picked up on Mondays will be picked up on Wednesday; Tuesday’s routes will be picked up Thursday; Thursday’s routes will be picked up on Friday; and Friday’s routes will be picked up Saturday.

Waste Management will be running routes on Wednesday, but will be running one day behind their regular schedule through Saturday.
