The following menus for Jan. 8-12 for area schools have been submitted by supervisors of food services. Menus are subject to change.

MONDAY: No school.

TUESDAY: Meatloaf or Shepard’s pie, mashed potatoes with gravy, green beans, mini biscuits, applesauce, peaches.

WEDNESDAY: Red beans, sausage or ham over rice, cooked carrots, breaded okra, cornbread, pears, orange.

THURSDAY: Spaghetti and meat sauce, sweet peas, garden salad, chewy breadstick, melon cup, banana.

FRIDAY: Chicken taquito or cheese quesadilla, guacamole cup, Spanish rice, pinto beans, whole-kernel corn, strawberry cup, apple.

Breakfast

MONDAY: No school.

TUESDAY: Mini strawberry ad cream cheese bagel or toast with jelly, graham crackers, pineapple tidbits, apple.

WEDNESDAY: Egg and cheese burrito, yogurt cup, applesauce, grapes or plums.

THURSDAY: Scrambled eggs, sausage link, cinnamon roll, pears, peaches.

FRIDAY: French toast sticks with syrup, chicken sausage patty, watermelon cup, banana.

MONDAY: Chicken nuggets, mac and cheese, carrots, green beans, orange wedges.

TUESDAY: Corn dog, sweet potato fries, corn, pears, cinnamon rolls.

WEDNESDAY: Baked chicken, broccoli cheese rice, sweet potatoes, mixed fruit, rolls.

THURSDAY: Chicken and sausage gumbo, crackers, potato salad, carrot sticks with dip, fruit cup.

FRIDAY: Crunchy beef taco, Spanish rice, red beans, taco salad cup, pears.

MONDAY: Pancakes and syrup, pears.

TUESDAY: Cinnamon roll, peaches.

WEDNESDAY: Yogurt, toast, mixed fruit.

THURSDAY: Western scramble, toast, sliced apples.

THURSDAY: Jambalaya, sweet potatoes, season green beans, cornbread muffins, applesauce cups.

FRIDAY: Cheeseburger, French fries, bold baked beans, Mandarin oranges.
