History of railroads in Southwest Louisiana presented by Edward Sherwood

Join the Sulphur Regional Library for a historical presentation from the Southwest Louisiana O Gauge Model Railroad Club.
Edward Sherwood, member of the O Gauge Model Railroad Club, will discuss the colorful history of the railroads in and around southwest Louisiana.
The program will take place on Thursday, December 21 from 5:00pm – 6:00pm at the Sulphur Regional Library, located at 1160 Cypress Street.
The program is free and open to all ages of the public.
The Southwest Louisiana O Gauge Model Railroad Club was organized in 2015 by Dr. Andy Buckley, Edwin Sherwood, and Barry McCall to model the Southern Pacific Missouri Pacific, and Kansas City Southern Railroads in Texas and Southwest Louisiana during the Steam to Diesel Transition era, 1946-1978.
The club’s 35′ x 20’ modular layout is currently on exhibit at the Sulphur Regional Library.
