Kamryn Nicole Harmon

 Kamryn Nicole Harmon, 16, departed this life on Sunday, Oct. 15, 2023, in Lafayette, La. She was born May 14, 2007, to Stephen Perrodin and Tiffanie Harmon Perrodin in Lake Charles, La. She was a junior and basketball team captain at Sam Houston High School. She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church and previously attended St. Theodore Holy Family Catholic School where she made her first communion. She loved hitting the court with her team, listening and dancing to music, and spending time with family and friends.

Kam was known to give great hugs, to say “I love you” at just the right time, and to sneak extra items into the shopping cart on Black Friday. She could often be spotted wearing mismatched shoes, recording TikToks, singing off key, and making everyone around her laugh out loud.

She leaves, to cherish her memories, her parents, Stephen Perrodin and Tiffanie Harmon Perrodin of Lake Charles, La.; grandparents, Ronald (Lori) Lazard of Humble, Texas, and Stephanie Harmon, Fredrick Perrodin, and Rose Mary Perrodin of Lake Charles, La.; great-grandparents Arthur (Birdie) Harmon and Mary Rene of Lake Charles, La.; big brother, Christian Harmon, twin brother, Kayden Harmon, and fur brother, Charlie B. Harmon of Lake Charles, La.; uncles, Christopher (Rhondreca) Perrodin, Tim Lazard, and Darius Lazard of Lake Charles, La.; aunts, Erika (Kerry) Lazard Guillory and Jacinta Lazard of Lake Charles, La., and Torre Perrodin and Marlana Perrodin of Houston, Texas; godparents, Christopher Anderson and Danielle Guidry Anderson, and a special cousin, Ethyn Marshall, who was like a little brother to her. Kamryn will be deeply missed by a host of other family members, friends, teammates, and classmates.

She was preceded in death by her great-grandfather, William “Bill” Rene and her great-uncle, Bryant Harmon.

Visitation will be held on Monday, Oct. 23, 2023, at 8 a.m., at King’s Funeral Home and funeral service at 12 p.m., at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church.  Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery under the direction of King’s Funeral Home.
