One big downtown party: 2023 Chuck Fest poised and ready to rock Lake Charles this Saturday

Chuck Fest returns for a full day for one of the biggest music, art, food and culture experiences in the Lake Area. This year, the committee is taking the art and food up a notch. Artist, artisan and craft vendors will be juried. Food trucks and food table vendors will be narrowed down to 10 of each.

On Saturday, Oct. 14, noon to midnight, the entertainment will be available at four different stages.

The schedule for the Volkswagen Stage at Ryan and Division is Street Side Jazz Band at noon, John Guidroz Band at 2 p.m., Justin Martindale & the Backstabbers at 4 p.m., Ricki & the People’s Victory at 6 p.m., LeTrainijump at 8 p.m. and Cha Wa at 10 p.m.

On the Ron Richard stage at Broad and Bilbo, see Bryan Keith Zydeco at 1 p.m., Karma & the Killjoys at 3 p.m., Zach Edwards & the Medicine at 5 p.m., The Charlie Wayne Band at 7 p.m. and Jarvis Jacob & the Gents at 9 p.m.

Head to the Panorama Music House to see Young Band Nation at noon, Ground Zero at 2 p.m., LVVRS at 4 p.m., Bridin’ at 6 p.m. and Dakar at 8 p.m.

Luna Bar and Grill will host St. Louis Show Choir at 1 p.m., Swampland String Band at 3 p.m., Cats & Aliens at 5 p.m., Infinite Bus at 7 p.m. and Gino V. at 9 p.m.

Stellar Beans has Mark & Sophia at noon, The Famous Strangers at 2 p.m., Abi Clair at 4 p.m. and the Lost Riders at 6 p.m.
