Douglas Doucett was “Promoted to Glory” Sept. 8, 2023 after a brief illness in a nursing home in Humble, Texas.

Funeral for Douglas Doucett will be 11 a.m. Sept. 23, at Christian Baptist Church, 202 North Franklin St.

Visitation will be at 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday,  Sept.  23, 2023 at the church.  Burial will be in Combre Memorial Park, next to his late wife Marget.

Douglas is survived by his son, Terald Doucett; one grandson, Jeramiah Doucett; two sisters, Brenda J.D. Brumfield of Houston, Texas and Lorraine Doucett Philip; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins as well as the family and members of Christian Baptist Church.

Fondel Memorial Chapel is in charge of the services.
