The following menus for Sept. 5-8 for area schools have been submitted by supervisors of food services. Menus are subject to change.

TUESDAY: Meatloaf or Shepard’s pie, mashed potatoes with gravy, green beans, mini biscuits, applesauce, plums.

WEDNESDAY: Red beans and sausage  or ham over rice, cooked carrots, breaded okra, cornbread, pears, orange.

THURSDAY: Spaghetti and meat sauce, sweet peas, garden salad, chewy breadstick, melon cup, banana, vanilla grahams.

FRIDAY: Chicken taquito or cheese quesadilla, guacamole cup, Spanish rice, pint beans, whole-kernel corn, strawberry cup, apple

Breakfast

TUESDAY: Mini strawberry and cream cheese bagel or toast with jelly, graham crackers, pineapple tidbits, apple.

WEDNESDAY: Egg and cheese burrito, yogurt cup, applesauce, grapes or plums.

THURSDAY: Scrambled eggs, sausage link, cinnamon roll, pears, peaches

FRIDAY: French toast sticks, chicken sausage patty, watermelon cup, banana.
