The following menus for Aug. 28-Sept. 1 for area schools have been submitted by supervisors of food services. Menus are subject to change.

MONDAY: Meatball sub or cheesy rice and meatball casserole, baked potato half, sour cream, broccoli and ranch dressing, mandarin oranges, blueberries.

TUESDAY: Chicken spaghetti or Cajun chicken pasta, yam patty, coleslaw, fruit cocktail, apple, cowboy cookie or chocolate grahams.

WEDNESDAY: Potato soup with diced ham or cheeseburger soup, carrot sticks with ranch, bread stick or cheddar cheese crackers, cherry/pineapple rings, banana.

THURSDAY: Jambalaya, vegetarian or kidney beans, mustard greens, grapes, grapefruit, honey graham snacks.

FRIDAY: Pizza-stuffed sandwich or mozzarella cheese-stuffed sticks, cream-style corn, celery sticks with sun butter, peaches.


MONDAY: Breakfast pizza, hash brown, apricots, apple.

TUESDAY: Mini biscuits, pork sausage patty, mandarin oranges, blueberries.

WEDNESDAY: Whole-grain cinnamon and raisin bagel with cream cheese or cheese toast, fruit cocktail, apple.

THURSDAY: Oatmeal or oatmeal muffin square, muffin, raisins, banana.

FRIDAY: Mini waffles with syrup, peach Cheerios cereal bar, grapes, orange.



MONDAY: Pizza, corn, green beans, orange wedges.

TUESDAY: Fish sticks, French fries, green peas, pears.

WEDNESDAY: Chicken alfredo, broccoli, garden salad, breadstick, peaches.

THURSDAY: Sloppy Joes, sandwich salad cup, potato rounds, mixed fruit.


MONDAY: Cereal, toast, mixed fruit.

TUESDAY: Muffins, mixed fruit.

WEDNESDAY: Grilled cheese, mixed fruit.

THURSDAY: Ham and cheese roll, sliced apples.



MONDAY: Chicken nuggets, mac and cheese, mixed vegetables, kiwi.

TUESDAY: Cajun chicken pasta, salad, grape tomatoes, Italian rolls, cantaloupe chunks.

WEDNESDAY: Homestyle chili with Fritos, broccoli and cheese, green beans, cornbread muffins, chilled peaches.

THURSDAY: Jambalaya, cornbread muffins, sweet potatoes, cucumber slices, applesauce cups.

FRIDAY: Cheeseburger with French fries, baked beans, strawberries.


MONDAY: Cereal, crisp apples.

TUESDAY: Pancakes, sweet pears.

WEDNESDAY: Flakey biscuits, scrambled eggs, fruit mix.

THURSDAY: Build-your-own parfait with yogurt, berries, crunchy granola.

FRIDAY: Breakfast pizza, bananas.

THURSDAY: Chicken and sausage gumbo, steamed rice, potato salad, seasoned green beans, peach crunch, crackers.

FRIDAY: Chili dog, French fries, ranch-style beans, watermelon, coleslaw.


MONDAY: Cereal, buttered whole-grain toast, pineapple tidbits.

TUESDAY: Whole-grain grits, sliced ham, fruit.

WEDNESDAY: Cereal, cinnamon graham crackers, fruit.

THURSDAY: Apple cinnamon whole-grain muffin, apple wedges.

FRIDAY: Pancake sausage on a stick, pear halves.
