SW La. school lunch menus April 17-21

The following menus for April 17-21 for area schools have been submitted by supervisors of food services. Menus are subject to change.

MONDAY: Chicken Philly sub, French fries, cauliflower with hummus, fruit cocktail, raisins, brownie bit or chocolate cake.

TUESDAY: Chili cheese tots or cheesy rice and meatballs, garden salad, green beans, applesauce, orange, graham crackers.

WEDNESDAY: Chicken sauce picante or turkey roast with gravy, rice, lima beans or roasted chickpeas, potato salad, strawberry cup, banana.

THURSDAY: Turkey crunchy taco or taco pie, salsa, taco salad cup with shredded cheese, refried beans, peaches, pear.

FRIDAY: Fish and pickle sandwich, lettuce/tomato cup, whipped sweet potatoes, great northern beans or navy beans, apricots, apple.

Breakfast

MONDAY: Mini pancake with syrup, sausage link, melon cup, banana.

TUESDAY: Cinnamon Toast Crunch soft-filled bar or chocolate chip muffin, fruit cocktail, raisins, graham crackers.

WEDNESDAY: Whole-grain egg and sausage burrito or toast with jelly, yogurt cup, applesauce, orange.

THURSDAY: Ham slice and scrambled eggs, buttered toast, strawberry cup, banana.

FRIDAY: Pop-tarts, cheddar cheese slice or sting cheese stick, peaches, pears.

MONDAY: Chicken nuggets, macaroni and cheese, carrots, green beans, apple.

TUESDAY: Barbecue-pulled pork on a bun, potato rounds, baked beans, peaches.

WEDNESDAY: Taco soup with chips, carrot sticks, mixed fruit.

THURSDAY: Chicken fajitas, red beans, Spanish rice, taco salad cup, fruit cup.

FRIDAY: Ham and cheese rollup, broccoli and cauliflower, sweet potato fries, pears, cinnamon rolls.

Breakfast

MONDAY: Pancakes, syrup, pears.

TUESDAY: Cinnamon rolls, peaches, juice.

WEDNESDAY: Hash brown casserole, sliced apples.

THURSDAY: Biscuit, sausage patty, mixed fruit.

FRIDAY: Scrambled eggs, toast, peaches.

MONDAY: Mini corndog bits, roasted potato wedges, sweet corn, fruit cocktail.

TUESDAY: Hot grilled cheese sandwich, loaded baked potato soup, mixed vegetables, cool peaches.

WEDNESDAY: Classic cheeseburgers, French fries, bold baked beans, cool peaches.

THURSDAY: Chicken and sausage gumbo, potato salad, saltine crackers, crunchy carrots, sweet fruit mix.

FRIDAY: Beefy nachos, salsa, Texas ranchero beans, applesauce cups.

THURSDAY: Chicken fried steak, yeast rolls, redskin garlic mashed potatoes, broccoli and cheese, applesauce.

FRIDAY: Popcorn chick, rip-stick breadstick, potato wedges, corn, banana slices with strawberry puree.
