Women’s Pro Golf Championship to tee off at L’Auberge

L’Auberge Casino Resort is partnering with Women’s All Pro Tour and Autism Services of Southwest Louisiana to host the L’Auberge Casino Resort Women’s Championship at Contraband Bayou Golf Club April 11-15.

The week kicks off with the Pro-Am on April 11 with proceeds supporting Autism Services of Southwest Louisiana.

“This is our third fundraiser partnering with the Women All Pro Tour,” said Melissa Griffin, executive director for Autism Services of Southwest Louisiana. “Proceeds support our non-profit mission to expand services for adults on the autism spectrum.  This will be our first year at the L’Auberge Contraband Bayou Golf Club.  All participants can look forward to a fun-filled week at this beautiful course.”

“We look forward to bringing the next stars of the LPGA to Lake Charles at the L’Auberge Casino Resort Women’s Championship, the perfect home for the tournament, and the resort’s amenities are second to none,” said Gary DeSerrano, WAPT President.

The L’Auberge Casino Resort Women’s Championship will be the second event of the 2023 WAPT season and is an official event on the PXG Race To Stage II. The field will consist of 108 professionals from all over the world. The tournament purse is expected to be $55,000 with the winner taking home $10,000.
