A 51-year-old Lake Charles man was killed Thursday night in a single-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle on Interstate 210. The crash claimed the life of Norman Troy Malbrough.

Louisiana State Police Trooper Derek Senegal said a 2019 Harley Davidson motorcycle, operated by Malbrough, was traveling east on the I-210 on ramp from I-10. While traveling east, the left foot peg on the motorcycle struck the concrete guardrail several times, which caused Malbrough to be ejected from the motorcycle.

Malbrough, who was wearing a DOT-approved helmet at the time of the crash, sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
