SW La. school lunch menus March 27-31

The following menus for March 27-31 for area schools have been submitted by supervisors of food services. Menus are subject to change.

MONDAY: Hot dog or corn dog, chili cup, French fries, broccoli with cheese, peaches, orange.

TUESDAY: Chicken nuggets or chicken patty (breaded or grilled), white cheddar mac-n-cheese, yam patty, green beans, apricots, banana.

WEDNESDAY: Pork roast, rice and gravy, black-eyed peas, whole -kernel corn, fruit cocktail, grapes, chocolate graham crackers.

THURSDAY: Nachos or chicken taquito, Mexican-style beans, lettuce/tomato cup, blueberries, raisins.

FRIDAY: Cheeseburger or grilled cheese sandwich, onion rings or sweet potato fries, pears with shredded cheese cup, apple.


MONDAY: Honey oat waffle with syrup, sausage link, strawberry cup, apple.

TUESDAY: Ham slice and grits, Trix cereal bar or chocolate graham crackers, peaches, orange.

WEDNESDAY: Plain bagel with cream cheese or toast with jelly, cheddar cheese slice or string cheese stick, apricots, banana.

THURSDAY: Pancake on a stick, hash brown, fruit cocktail, grapes.

FRIDAY: Breakfast break kit, muffin (banana or blueberry), blueberries, raisins.



MONDAY: Pizza variety, corn, green beans, orange wedges.

TUESDAY: Manager’s choice.

WEDNESDAY: Pork and gravy, green beans, carrots, whole-wheat roll, peaches.

THURSDAY: Sloppy Joe on a bun, sandwich salad cup, potato rounds, mixed fruit.

FRIDAY: Vegetable soup, grilled cheese, carrot sticks, pears, angelic brownies.


MONDAY: Cereal, toast, mixed fruit.

TUESDAY: Muffins, mixed fruit.

WEDNESDAY: Grilled cheese, mixed fruit.

THURSDAY: Ham and cheese roll, sliced apples.

FRIDAY: Waffle dunkers, yogurt, sliced apples.



MONDAY: Chicken nuggets, creamy mac and cheese, mixed vegetables, baby carrots, kiwi.

TUESDAY: Home-style chili, crunchy Fritos, broccoli and cheese, seasoned green beans, cornbread muffins, cool peaches.

WEDNESDAY: Cajun chicken pasta, side salad, grape tomatoes, celery sticks, Italian rolls, cantaloupe.

THURSDAY: Jambalaya, sweet potatoes, cucumber slices, cornbread muffins, applesauce cups.

FRIDAY: Cheesy calzones, marinara cups, side salad, cucumber slices, sweet peaches.


MONDAY: Crunchy cereal, red apples.

TUESDAY: Pancakes, sliced pears.

WEDNESDAY: Maple French toast sticks, kiwi.

THURSDAY: Build-your-own parfait, yogurt, granola, blueberries.

FRIDAY: Biscuits, scrambled eggs, cool fruit mix.



MONDAY: Sliced ham, yeast rolls, creamy mac and cheese, field peas, sliced peaches.

TUESDAY: Meatballs and gravy, rice, yeast rolls, orange-glazed carrots, cucumber slices and celery sticks, pineapple chunks.

WEDNESDAY: Gumbo, rice, black-eyed peas, tropical fruit salad, confetti cake-filled cookie.

THURSDAY: Chicken nuggets, pinto beans, potato wedges, warm peaches, cotton candy yogurt cup.

FRIDAY: Cheese pizza, cheese sticks, flame-roasted corn, broccoli, marinara sauce, cinnamon apples.


MONDAY: Chocolate chip muffin, blueberry muffin, peach cup.

TUESDAY: Pancakes, mandarin orange cup.

WEDNESDAY: French toast cake bites, banana.

THURSDAY: Breakfast buns, tropical fruit, raisins.

THURSDAY: Beef and cheese pizza, steamed whole-kernel corn, mixed fruit, ice cream cup.

FRIDAY: Grilled cheese sandwich, vegetable soup, carrots/cukes/broccoli cup, apple wedges, chocolate pudding.


MONDAY: Apple cinnamon whole-grain muffin, apple wedges.

TUESDAY: Pancake sausage on a stick, pear halves.

WEDNESDAY: Assorted cereal, cinnamon graham crackers, fruit.

THURSDAY: Breakfast wrap, banana.

FRIDAY: Blueberry snackin waffles, cinnamon spice apples.
