SW La. school lunch menus Feb. 13-17

The following menus for Feb. 13-17 for area schools have been submitted by supervisors of food services. Menus are subject to change.

MONDAY: Barbecue rib burger, sweet potato French fries, lettuce/tomato cup, pineapple tidbits, apple, cinnamon sugar cookie.

TUESDAY: Meatloaf or shepherd’s pie, mashed potatoes, green beans, whole-wheat mini biscuit, applesauce, plums.

WEDNESDAY: Red beans, sausage or ham over rice, cooked carrots, cornbread, pears, orange.

THURSDAY: Spaghetti with meat sauce, mixed peas and carrots, garden salad, whole-wheat bread stick, melon cup, banana.

FRIDAY: Beef burrito or cheese quesadilla, Spanish rice, taco salad cup, whole-kernel corn, strawberry cup, apple.

Breakfast

MONDAY: Chocolate crescent roll, cheddar cheese slice or string cheese stick, apricots, banana.

TUESDAY: Sausage, egg and cheese wrap or cheese toast, graham crackers, pineapple tidbits, apple.

WEDNESDAY: Beef burrito or blueberry and cream cheese stick, yogurt with granola, applesauce, plums.

THURSDAY: Scrambled eggs, cinnamon roll, pears, peaches.

FRIDAY: French toast sticks with syrup, hash brown, melon cup, banana.

TUESDAY: Barbecue pulled pork on a bun, sandwich cup, green beans, peaches.

THURSDAY: Chicken and sausage gumbo, potato salad, relish tray with dip, fruit cup.

FRIDAY: Nachos with ground beef, taco salad cup, red beans, cinnamon rolls, pears.

MONDAY: Toaster pastries, mixed fruit.

TUESDAY: French toast, peaches.

WEDNESDAY: Cinnamon toast, sausage patty, pears.

THURSDAY: Breakfast burrito, mixed fruit.

THURSDAY: Meatballs, rice and gravy, mustard greens, black-eyed pears, cornbread muffins, red grapes.

FRIDAY: Hot grilled cheese sandwich, loaded baked potato soup, mixed vegetables, cool peaches.
