Carol Ann Comeaux

Carol Ann Comeaux, 71, of Lake Charles, passed away at 3:03 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 3, 2022, in her home after a short battle with cancer.
Carol was born on Feb. 10, 1951, in Lake Charles, La., where she was raised and was a graduate of Lake Charles High School.
Her life was filled with family and friends, supporting her church community, and helping others. She enjoyed crafting, specifically making rosaries, traveling, and spending quiet time at the lake. Life-long friends include the Path Lab family where she was employed for 35 years, Pokeno groups, Wednesday supper group, Friday lunch group, ‘A Catered Affair’ crew, St. Margaret Church community, Alter Society members, and Saturday Food Pantry volunteers. Carol was known for her cooking and baking. She loved catering for both friends and family.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 33 years, Rickie; a daughter, Angel Ogea (Free) of Lake Charles; sons, Joseph Craig Comeaux (Ashley) of Lake Charles, Rickie Comeaux Jr. of Lake Charles, and Randy Comeaux of Lake Charles; grandchildren, Trevor Fontenot (Alana) of Lake Charles, Andrew Ogea (Victoria) of Lake Charles, Kailyn Ardoin of Baltimore, Md., and Noah James Comeaux due in February 2023.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe L. and Bettie Gilbeaux Roy; sister, Catherine Roy Hawkins; and brother, Richard L. Roy.
Visitation will be at Johnson Funeral Home on Thursday, Dec. 8, from 5 – 8 p.m. with a rosary being recited at 6 p.m. A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m on Friday, Dec. 9, 2022, at St. Margaret Catholic Church. The Rev. Andrew DeRouen will officiate. Visitation on Friday will be at Johnson Funeral Home from 9 -10:30 a.m. before leaving for St. Margaret Catholic Church. Burial will be held at Consolata Cemetery in Lake Charles following the funeral.
Pallbearers will be: Dalton Boudreaux, Trevor Fontenot, Christopher Hawkins, Andrew Ogea, Jason Roy, and Jerry Roy.
