Fondel said detectives have located a gray Buick Enclave, driven by Guidry to the 500 block of Broad Street prior to the shooting. Upon obtaining a search warrant the vehicle was processed by LCPD evidence officers and detectives and a .223 riffle and .762 riffle were recovered from the back floorboard of the suspect vehicle.

Fondel said when officers responded to the shooting at about 1:35 a.m. Wednesday, they discovered multiple gunshot victims and were told others were transported by private means to local hospitals for treatment.

Fondel said Acadian Ambulance transported one victim to a local hospital and LCPD patrol officers transported two others.

Fondel said there are eight known victims — two who have been treated and released from local hospitals, three remain in critical condition and three who are in stable condition.
