Susie Lee Little, 93, of Sulphur, La., passed away on Friday, Sept. 16, 2022, at her residence surrounded by her loved ones. She was born to her late parents, Ophie and Cleonie Simon on Nov. 30, 1928, in Prairie View, Texas. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, woodworking, and loved to tend to her yard. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family, whom she loved very much.
She is survived by her two daughters, Cathy Woods (Tommy Woods), Dianna Vincent (Bubba Vincent Jr.); brother, Jessie Simon (Shirley Simon); six grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild on the way.
Susie was preceded in death by her loving husband, Lenny “Red” Little; parents; two brothers; along with two sisters.
Service will be held at Hixson Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home on Thursday, Sept. 22, 2022, at 12 p.m. with Father Luke Krzanowski officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday, beginning at 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Mimosa Pines South in Carlyss, La.
