Bonnye Anne Hebert

Bonnye Anne Dunham Theriot Hebert, 92, of Lake Charles passed away at 6:05 p.m. on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 in a local care facility.
Mrs. Hebert was born on Aug. 10, 1929 in Dequincy where she was raised and graduated form Dequincy High School. She moved to Grand Chenier and resided there until moving to Lake Charles in the 1990’s. Mrs. Hebert was a devout catholic and was a member of Our Lady Queen of Heaven parish.
She was a member of the Red Hat Society and Home Demonstration Club. Mrs. Hebert was skilled in making arts and crafts and took pleasure in quilting, crocheting, knitting, and sewing. She also enjoyed working in her yard and baking birthday cakes for her family.
Those left to cherish her memory are grandchildren, Dr. Gerald Mouton (Kelli) of Lake Charles, Yvonne Mouton of Lake Charles, Val Mouton (Derinda) of Lake Charles, and Teresa Mouton of Cameron; 13 great-grandchildren; 16 great-great grandchildren; three great-great-great grandchildren; a sister, Alma “Cooter” Smith of Dequincy; and numerous nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind dear family members, niece, Valeen Natali and Jann Corley.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, Valian Theriot and Dr. Jerry Hebert; a stepdaughter, Lillian Theriot Mouton; sisters, Pat Babineaux and Joy Christy; grandchildren, Tommy and Johnny Mouton; great-grandson, Gerry Mouton; and her parents, Eula and Ben Dunham.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 18, 2022 in the Johnson Funeral Home chapel. Monsignor Daniel Torres will officiate. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. until the start of the service with a rosary being recited at 12:30 p.m. Cremation will follow and an inurnment will be held on Friday, June 24, 2022 at 2 p.m. in St. Eugene Catholic Cemetery in Grand Chenier.
